CAPTAIN TODD ENDERS
Captain Todd is a fulltime teacher by trade working with technology and school media. He worked with special education students for 17 years before switching positions within the district to teach media classes, photoshop, and the publication of the yearbook for the high school and junior high school. He is a father of two children and currently raising a grandchild. Fishing and hunting is an extreme passion thus the reason for spending his summers pursuing Lake Erie’s favorite species and winters pursuing big and small game animals of Ohio. Captain Todd assures that your trip will be safe and enjoyable aboard Sweet Escape Charters. You will be happy with our service and want to come back year after year. Your captain is patient with all customers and will teach and explain all the naeeded techniques to catch your limit. Unlike most charters, you will handle the rods and reels to experience the best Lake Erie has to offer.

Your fishing vessel
Sweet Escape is a very clean and comfortable 1987, 30′ Sport-Craft powered by a 454 mercruiser that has been fully inspected and meets all the requirements of the United States Coast Guard. We follow all the USCG laws and regulations aboard this maritime drug-free vessel. The boat is noted for its fast, efficient, and dependable sea-worthiness. It has a 10′ beam that provides plenty of fishing room for 6 fisherman on its deck. There is a clean and private head located in the cabin. Most importantly it is fully-equipped with all the gear needed to catch your limit.
LODGING
Sweet Escape Charters provides clean, comfortable, convenient, and most of all affordable lodging for its customers. Most lodging used is located in Wild Wings Marina and Campground the same marina where Sweet Escape is docked. This lodging is within walking distance of the boat, convenient store, restaurant, and lounge.
Accommodations are mobile home trailers that are not owned by Sweet Escape Charters. They are owned and operated by other charter captains within the same marina which Sweet Escape Charters works and fishes with closely. Additional accommodations such as condominiums and rental homes can be acquired for an additional cost. The costs vary based on the amount charged by their owner. The condominiums and rental homes are within close proximity of the boat. All are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis for your relaxing and enjoyable stay while fishing for Lake Erie walleye or perch.
